Ngāi Tauira is the Māori Students' Association at Te Herenga Waka | Victoria University of Wellington. Based at Ngā Mokopuna, our new Living Pā, Ngāi Tauira provides a safe space for tauira Māori. We facilitate cultural and community building kaupapa such as Kapa Haka, sports teams and social events. Ngāi Tauira represent and advocate for tauira Māori and provide a core connection to Māori student support services. Our 2026 theme "ko te aroha te pou" is focused on providing greater clarity on who we are to enhance the sustainability of our rōpu long into the future.
