I recently graduated from AUT with my Bachelor's in Māori Development, Majoring in Māori Media and minoring in History. I was on the kōmiti for Tītahi ki tua for two years, my role was the Social and communications Co-ordinator. Currently, I am working at AUT in brand and marketing, and I'm hoping to transfer all the skills I have gained to uplift Te Mana Akonga.
My passion for tauira Māori reflects the pursuit of excellence, resilience, and continuous growth that we witness every day in the tertiary environment. It is a privilege to represent them at a national level, and with the incredible team we have, I’m excited to see the direction in which we can take Te Mana Ākonga this year! Mauri ora x

I am a former Tumuaki for Te Rōpū Māori, a former Kaitawaka Māori mō Te Herenga Waka and I am currently in my final year of my doctoral studies at Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka.
My research strives on the experiences of tauira Māori across our whare wānanga, which ignites my passion to inspire, uplift and champion our rangatahi to become the rangatira we know they are. It is imperative that the voice of our rangatahi are heard at every level within the tertiary sector, and it is a privilege to be a small part of that journey as part of the TMĀ whānau.

I recently graduated with my Bachelor's from Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha with Psychology and Māori & Indigenous Studies. This year I am completing Te Tohu Paetahi at Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato ki Tauranga.
Serving as Tumuaki Haumi for Te Akatoki for the previous two years, and being Pou Pāpāho before that, was the most meaningful part of my university experience. Now having the opportunity to serve all tauira on the TMĀ executive, I hope that I can continue to provide outreach and opportunities on a national level, whilst also being a tuakana & hoa to our kāhui tumuaki.
